 ay 2014 at 7.30pm.\nMusical Director\, Lesley Bentley\, said\; 'In the pas
 t the choir's performances have mainly taken place within the city centre'
 . We have sung at the Anglican and Metropolitan Cathedrals\, Liverpool Tow
 n Hall\, The Walker Art Gallery\, Liverpool Parish Church - Our Lady and S
 t Nicholas Church\, Pier Head and Liverpool's Philharmonic Hall for the Ca
 pital of Culture's Holocaust Commemorative Event.\nLiverpool Voice has als
 o presented concert events in the south end of the city - Sefton Park Palm
  House\, Mossley Hill Parish Church\, Bishop Eton\, Woolton (for Nugent Ca
 re)\, and last month's Arts Cafe at Sefton Park Cricket Club.\nHaving rece
 ived a very warm welcome during the choir's last Crosby appearance - a Chr
 istmas concert at Crosby Hall\, Ince Blundell\, the choir wanted to return
  to the Crosby area\, and\, given its reputation for hosting high calibre 
 musical performances\, together with its wonderful interior\, St Faith's w
 as the obvious choice'.\nIn addition to the evening's main choral work\, V
 ivaldi's 'Gloria'\, the choir will be performing short popular works in th
 e second half of the programme\, including favourites by Mozart\, Haydn\, 
 Faure\, Bruckner\, Tchaikovsky\, Rutter and Mendelssohn. Soloists will als
 o perform a number of well-loved sacred items including: 'Pie Jesu' and ' 
 Libera me' from Faure's Requiem\, Schubert's 'Ave Maria' and 'Lift Thine E
 yes' from Mendelssohn's oratorio\, 'Elijah'. Tickets for the concert are p
 riced at &pound\;6.00 - adults\, and &pound\;4.00 - concessions.\nSoprano 
 soloist\, Denise Owen said: 'The choir is very much looking forward to sin
 ging in this lovely venue. We hope that people will be able to join us for
  a pleasant evening of favourite sacred music while supporting our two cho
