DESCRIPTION:Liverpool Voice is a well-established choir of 40+ voices\, dra
 wing its members from across the Merseyside area and Wirral region and reh
 earsing in the south of Liverpool. &nbsp\;Since its formation in 2003 it h
 as gone from strength to strength\, presenting concerts and music for spec
 ial occasions in prestigious venues across the city and beyond.\n\nThe cho
 ir&rsquo\;s repertoire is wide-ranging and includes a broad selection of d
 ifferent musical genres. Concert performances have featured large-scale ch
 oral works: Vivaldi&rsquo\;s &ldquo\;Gloria&rdquo\;\; Karl Jenkins&rsquo\;
  &ldquo\;The Armed Man - A Mass for Peace&rdquo\;\; and Faur&eacute\;&rsqu
 o\;s Requiem. In addition we also present arrangements of lighter music in
 corporating a wide range of musical styles.&nbsp\;\n\nThe first part of ou
 r Choral Classics&rsquo\; programme on Friday 4 July features works by con
 temporary composers\, including some of Karl Jenkins&rsquo\; most well-kno
 wn pieces together with George Shearing&rsquo\;s settings of Shakespeare&r
 squo\;s &ldquo\;Songs and Sonnets&rdquo\;. The evening will finish with a 
 variety of lighter music in the church gardens - weather permitting. We do
  hope you will join us.&nbsp\;\n&nbsp\;\nTickets are &pound\;10 on the doo
 r.
